Get to Know Dr. Jeffrey Meister

Dr. Jeffrey Meister has been a staple in the Northwest Indiana area for over 35 years, serving more than two generations of local families. He couldn’t have imagined what Distinctive Dentistry & Orthodontics would become when he first opened his one-chair practice. These days, he’s thrilled to see his associates making sure that friendly, personalized, and gentle dental care is more accessible and convenient than ever before.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?

Dr. Meister is a 1988 graduate of Purdue University Lafayette and the Indiana University School of Dentistry. He is also a graduate of the Academy of GP Orthodontics two-year post-graduate Program and a two-term President of the Academy of GP Orthodontics.
Further, Dr. Meister completed the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry IV Sedation Program and taken the American Academy of Implant Dentistry MaxiCourse at New York University and Brookdale Hospital. An Honored Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID), he has served on numerous committees of the Academy and is a Past President of the Central District of the AAID.
Dr. Meister is the only active Board-Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology/Implant Dentistry in Northwest Indiana and has completed thousands of surgeries and implant procedures.

Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?

Dr. Meister enjoys spending time with his wife, Kimberly and their son, Noah. They enjoy riding their bikes on the trails throughout NWI.
